We believe in making things sustainable. This is why we have a focus on creating
teaching materials. Positive Media has extensive experience making video content to use for both teachers and in training.
In Papua New Guinea the team worked for Voluntary Services Overseas’ (VSO) Language Support Program, creating contextual training videos for trainee teachers. In Timor-Leste, we have worked with the MFAT-funded HANDS project to create a
series of videos for teachers on subjects that include play and professional
development. In Solomon Islands, we were part of building the foundations for creating financial literacy videos for Catalpa’s smartphone application aimed at rural women.
The Positive Media team also offers training, mentoring and capacity building to your team. Whether it is teaching field staff to take better photographs using their
smartphones or sharing skills one-to-one to build confidence in a team member, your unique work has a development story to tell and through training your own team
members you are less likely to need to outsource to consultants.
